Decagon Gallery invites photographers from around the world to submit images for Sanctuary, an online exhibition exploring the spaces, places, and moments that offer us refuge, peace, and renewal.

What does sanctuary mean to you? It might be a quiet corner of your home, a place of worship, a stretch of untouched landscape, a gathering of loved ones, or even an inner state of calm. Sanctuary can be physical or emotional, private or communal, fleeting or eternal. We welcome all photographic interpretations that reflect the essence of finding shelter, comfort, and belonging in a turbulent world.

Juror: Ovidiu Petca graduated from the Fine Arts Institute "Ion Andreescu" in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. In addition to his artistic endeavors, Petca has been involved in organizing and curating significant art events. He served as the organizer of the International Mini-Print Biennial in Cluj-Napoca from 1997 to 2005 and has been the organizer of the “Tribuna Graphic” international print annual since 2010.
