“Shadows” A Photography Exhibition

We live in a world of light, but it is the shadows that define how we see it. Light and dark are not opposites in isolation but exist in continual tension, producing contrast and structuring experience. Shadow delineates the limits of illumination, reminding us that perception is contingent rather than absolute.
Beyond the physical realm, shadow carries moral and philosophical weight. This open call invites photographic works where shadow conveys conceptual depth.

Open to photographers worldwide. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Artists retain the copyright to their submitted works.
By submitting, artists grant permission for the exhibition's online display and promotional materials, including authorisation for the curator to use their photo(s) on Instagram, Artplacer and www.carlottagallery.co.uk
