Now in its 15th year, Landscape Photographer of the Year celebrates the wonder of the British landscape and showcases the work of many talented photographers.
With a prize fund worth over £20,000, a full-colour book of best entries and a touring exhibition, Landscape Photographer of the Year inspires us all to experience the wonderful diversity of the UK.
There are four main Categories:
- Classic View
- Urban Life
- Your View
- Black and White
And four Special Awards:
- Lines in the Landscape
- Coast
- Landscapes at Night
- Historic Britain
If you’re 18 or under on the 5 May 2022, you can enter the Youth Competition for free in 2022.

Prizes:
Full prize fund is worth over £20,000.
Overall winner takes home £10,000.
£1,000 prize for each category winner, plus prizes for each Special Award (e.g. 1-to-1 photography session with Charlie Waite).
All runners up, highly commended and commended entries will win their image in the Collection 15 coffee-table book, plus a presence at the 2022 exhibition, touring the UK's busiest train stations from November 2022 - April 2023.

Copyright of each image is retained by its respective photographer.
By submitting their images, photographers agree to its usage:
a) inclusion in Competition books – print & digital versions;
b) display at any exhibitions;
c) on a secure web browser for judging purposes;
d) on the Competition website and on the websites of sponsors and supporters;
e) for use in press, promotional and marketing materials – both print & digital;
f) on social media sites, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo
Entrants whose work is commended or above, agree to take part in post-Competition publicity and agree to the use of their name and likeness for this purpose without compensation.
