Archifoto 2026

With Architecture & Landscape as this year’s theme, participants in the Archifoto competition are presented with a vast field of exploration. However, it is challenging to address this theme through photography whilst avoiding clichés. This is precisely because the concept of landscape is no longer self-evident. Having become a catch-all term, it encompasses not only the aesthetic dimension, but also political, social, environmental and cultural realities. In the face of climatic, demographic and ecological changes, the concept of landscape has emerged as a strategic framework for thinking about cities and territories. So, how can we capture the relationship between architecture and landscape, reveal their similarities and differences, and demonstrate their ability to influence people and places?

The jury will pay particular attention to:
- the treatment of the theme
- the coherence of the dossier presented and the relevance of the photographic writing (choice and association of images, quality, and originality).
