Boundaries 2027 International Photography Exhibition

The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is running an exhibition in April called Boundaries.  

A new theme for the gallery, Boundaries are all around us, physical limitations or social agreements, they can keep us safe or restrict us. You can stay within these boundaries or you can break free of them.

We want to see how you interpret this theme, either literal or in a more metaphorical sense, you can be as experimental as you wish.

Boundaries is an open call for photographers to submit up to 8 images.

If selected participants will have:

Their work printed and displayed in the gallery

Their work displayed in an online gallery on our website

Their work be included in an exhibition catalogue


A digital certificate of participation sent out before the start of the exhibition 


Their work will be photographed in situ once installed. These photos will be shared with participants directly via email and through our social media after the exhibition has started. 


Their work will be videoed. These videos will be share via the gallery’s social media pages. 


Have their work automatically put forward for a chance to be named Photographer of the Month.

Copyrights & Usage Rights:

The copyright of the Works during and after the exhibition remains with the Artist.
