Cold is a force that shapes everything it touches, pressing against the skin, stiffening the air, freezing rivers, and hardening the earth beneath snow and ice. It silences landscapes, and exposes the vulnerability of bodies and structures alike. Through photography, Cold captures the relentlessness of winter, the sharp textures of ice, the beauty of frost, and the contrast of human presence against vast landscapes.

This exhibition seeks images that confront cold in all its forms, also work that interprets cold as metaphor, and its ability to evoke the uncompromising clarity that the season brings.
