The JRNY World Travel Photography Awards celebrate the images that make us see the world differently. Brought to you by JRNY Travel Magazine and Steppes Travel, the awards invite photographers from across the globe to share their most compelling travel photographs, whether they are enthusiastic amateurs or established professionals.

There are four categories. Landscape looks for images that bring a place to life and reveal the power and beauty of the natural world. People celebrates character, personality and the connection between a subject and their surroundings. Cities captures urban life in all its forms, from quiet streets and cityscapes to the energy of a metropolis in motion. Wildlife welcomes memorable encounters with animals of every kind, whether photographed on a distant expedition or closer to home.

The competition is free to enter and open to photographers aged 18 and over worldwide. Entrants may submit up to ten photographs across the categories. An independent judging panel alongside the JRNY team will select the winning and commended images, looking for photographs that combine visual impact with a strong sense of place and story.

There is £1,500 in cash prizes: £1,000 for the overall winner and £500 for the overall runner-up. Category winners and highly commended photographers will receive a one-year digital subscription to JRNY Travel Magazine, and selected images may be published in the magazine and showcased through the awards.

From vast landscapes and intimate portraits to city streets and extraordinary wildlife, the awards are an invitation to show us the world as you see it.
