Minimalism is the theme for this months competition.

The Minimalism Photography Competition invites photographers to celebrate the power of simplicity by capturing images that embrace clean lines, intentional composition, and thoughtful use of negative space. Participants are challenged to create striking visuals using minimal elements—whether found in nature, architecture, everyday objects, or abstract scenes—while emphasizing clarity, balance, and restraint. The competition rewards photographs that demonstrate how less can truly be more, showcasing the beauty of quiet moments, subtle details, and refined design. Open to all skill levels, it offers artists a platform to highlight their ability to distill a scene to its essential form and evoke meaning through elegant simplicity.

The selection guidelines for the Minimalism Photography Competition focus on clarity, simplicity, and strong visual intent. Judges will look for images that skillfully use negative space, clean composition, and limited elements to create a powerful and cohesive statement. Successful entries should demonstrate deliberate framing, thoughtful balance, and an ability to evoke emotion or meaning through restraint rather than complexity. While post-processing is permitted, it should enhance the minimalist aesthetic without introducing distractions. All submissions must reflect the photographer’s original work and adhere to the competition’s core theme of distilling a scene to its most essential, impactful form.
