Ocean Conservancy Photo Contest
Summer is finally upon us一the sun, the warmth and the extra time spent outside with family and friends enjoying all of nature’s beauty. And, for those of you who bring your camera along on your outside adventures一we want to see your gorgeous photos! Whether you have coastal photos from previous vacations or underwater pictures from a stellar scuba session, we want to see them entered into our Annual Photo Contest!
This year, we have five fin-tastic categories to enter:
Coastlines & Seascapes
The ocean is not only what’s beneath the water, but the balance between sky, water and earth.
Both negative and positive, mankind’s impact on the sea cannot be ignored. This category is for photos that highlight the impact the human race has on the ocean, from marine debris and oil spills, to cleanups and animal rescues.
Ocean creatures great and small in their natural environment, the ocean.
People & the Ocean
Photographs that provide a look at our human connection to the ocean, recreation and adventure in and around the deep blue.
From coral reefs to shipwrecks, these photos will leave us in awe of the underwater world of the ocean.
This year, all winners will receive a framed award featuring their beautiful photo, as well as limited-edition Ocean Conservancy merchandise. And the BIG winner一Judge’s Choice一will also receive a $500 gift card to B&H Photo!
Must be 18 or older. Under 18 requires permission from parent or guardian.
