Signs.com Home Is Where the Heart Is Photo Contest

One definition for a home is "one's place for residence." We think it's just a bit more than that. We believe home to be where the heart is. Shoot the image that conveys your interpretation of "Home Is Where the Heart Is" and submit it for a chance to win $1,500 cash and the opportunity to have your photos printed on metal, acrylic, maple, and canvas surfaces.

The contest will have a grand prize and a people's choice prize. The grand prize winner will be chosen by a panel of professional photographers, including Brooke Schultz, Jonathan Burkhart, and Luke Sharrett. They will receive $1,500 and four custom photo prints. The People's Choice winner will be selected based on whichever entry receives the highest number of votes by August 21, 2017. They will receive $500 and three custom photo prints.

Must be 18 years or older to enter. All skill levels welcome. No entry fee required. Must live within the United States or Canada. One submission allowed per person.

Eligibility:

NO ENTRY FEE • Must be 18 years or older to enter • Must live within the United States or Canada • One submission allowed per person • Submission file must be less than 25 MB • Submission file must be JPEG format • Open to all skill levels (amateur, professional, etc.) • Must submit entry by the deadline of July 31, 2017

Entrants agree to allowing Signs.com to review submission information, including first and last name, email address, and the file uploaded for submission.

Signs.com reserves the right to collect, process, store, and use entrant information for future promotional purposes.

Entrants agree to have their submitted content reviewed and screened by Signs.com prior to being judged or voted upon.

Entrant must own or have the necessary rights, licenses, permissions, or consents to submitted content.

Signs.com reserves the right to display submitted content on the Signs.com website and use submitted content for promotional purposes both on and offline.

Entrant agrees they will not submit content that is 1) copyrighted or protected by a 3rd party owner 2) unlawful, pornographic, obscene, hateful, threatening, false, misleading, harassing, libelous, vulgar, or defamatory 3) impersonating or representing the likeness of another person that the entrant does not have the rights to represent, living or dead 4) promotes or endorses hate speech, which is broadly defined, but not limited to, as anything that promotes violence or hatred towards groups or individuals based on: race or ethnic origin, religions, disability, gender, age, veteran status or sexual orientation.

Winners agree to have their full name published on Signs.com as winner of the contest.

Winners agree to have their name and winning submission used for advertising and promotional purposes without receiving additional compensation.

Signs.com reserves the right to verify contest winners’ ownership of copyright or intellectual property rights for submitted content. If winner is unable to provide proof of ownership, Signs.com may withhold prize from the chosen winner and consider the winner disqualified from the competition.
