“Stone & Stories” Photography Contest and Exhibition

Allora Gallery invites photographers from around the world to submit work for our international photography competition, "Stone & Stories." This competition welcomes both architectural and street photography, exploring the built environment and the life within it.

Cities are built from stone, steel, and glass — but they come alive through the stories written within them. Every building holds history in its facade, every street corner witnesses countless human moments, every architectural detail speaks of the hands that shaped it and the lives it has sheltered. This competition celebrates the relationship between the structures we build and the stories we live, where architecture becomes the stage and streets become the narrative of human experience.

How do you reveal the character carved into weathered stonework? What stories unfold in the spaces between buildings? Can your images show both the permanence of architecture and the fleeting moments of life it frames?

We welcome architectural photography, street photography, and any work exploring the built environment—from historic facades to modern structures, from intricate details to urban scenes, from the monumental to the everyday moments that bring cities to life.
