Trieste Photo Young 2021
Trieste Photo Young is a new contest dedicated to photographers under 30, promoted by the cultural association dotART and part of the Trieste Photo Days - International Urban Photo Festival.
Organized with the assistance of “Fondazione Pietro Pittini” and in collaboration with PAG – Progetto Area Giovani (Municipality of Trieste - Italy).
Trieste Photo Young aims to discover, support and reward young photographers by offering them a prestigious exhibition space during the 8th Edition of festival Trieste Photo Days, 28-31 October 2021,
and will host giants of photography like Bruce Gilden, Paolo Pellegrin and Francesco Cito.
This will be an innovative and exciting contest divided into two parts: the first stage consists of a group stage while the second one is a knockout stage, along the lines of the World Cup.
You can follow the evolution of the contest on the website https://young.triestephotodays.com/, where the ranking will be published and updated with the Jury votes.
The contest will continue online until the quarters, while the semi-finals and the final will take place LIVE during the Trieste Photo Days, where the Jury will decide the winning photo.
Prizes offered by Fondazione Pietro Pittini:
• the FOUR SEMI-FINALISTS will be hosted in Trieste to attend the final, October 2021.
• the WINNER will be awarded an Amazon voucher of € 500.
• COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION: the 32 photos ranked in the Sixteenth Round will be exhibited from October 26th to November 7th 2021 during the 8th Edition of the Trieste Photo Days-International Urban Photo Festival.

• n. 4 of their pioneer course, the “365 Days of Photography Course”, for a total value of € 1,460!

Each photographer retains the moral rights and intellectual property rights to their photos. Each author grants the dotART Association the non-exclusive right to use the winning/selected images to promote/advertise the non-profit activities of the association, subject to official notification to the author (whose name will always be attributed to the work).
