ViewPoint Gallery’s 2026 International Photography Competition

ViewPoint Gallery is now accepting submissions for its 2026 International Photography Competition, open to photographers worldwide. There are no restrictions on subject matter.
Twelve winning images will be selected and receive the following benefits:
- Professionally printed, matted, and framed at no cost to the photographer
- Exhibited for one month each at ViewPoint Gallery between June 2026 and May 2027
- Promotion on ViewPoint’s website, newsletter, and social media platforms
- Opportunity to sell the printed image (unframed) through the Gallery
- Invitation to become a Virtual Associate of ViewPoint Gallery, including a free profile page on our website for one year (June 2026–May 2027)
This is an opportunity to exhibit your work for one month at ViewPoint Gallery, an established photography gallery in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Founded as an artists co-operative 25-years-ago, ViewPoint is the only art gallery in Atlantic Canada dedicated solely to photography.
The International Photography Competition is open to photographers worldwide. There are no restrictions on subject matter. The images will be reviewed by an independent jury of established photographers who will select 12 images for exhibition at ViewPoint Gallery.
