What the Streets Hold – Street Photography Open Call

Decagon Gallery invites photographers worldwide to submit to WHAT THE STREETS HOLD, a juried open call for street photography about what people reveal without intending to: how they wait, protect themselves, occupy space, move toward one another, or remain separate while standing side by side. Photographs may be made on streets, in stations, markets, public transport, neighborhoods, or anywhere strangers temporarily share the same place. A person may be central to the image, barely visible, or present only through what they have left behind. The gallery is not looking only for dramatic events or perfectly timed gestures, but for photographs that make the viewer pause because something in them feels known.

Juror: Teona Machavariani, Curator and Artistic Director of Decagon Gallery.

Selected photographers receive an online exhibition (February 10 – April 10, 2027), publication in a professionally designed catalog, and digital badges and certificates.
