Lions International Seregno AID is proud to announce the 10th edition of the World Water Day Photo Contest.

The theme of the 2025/2026 campaign is WATER’S ROLE IN GENDER EQUALITY.

The photo contest is organized in cooperation with the United Nations (UN-Water), under the patronage of the European Community, to celebrate World Water Day.

The proceeds raised will be allocated to the co-financing of the humanitarian water aid project “Waters Root” in Tanzania.

Thanks to the funds raised through previous editions, three service projects have been implemented: one in Burkina Faso, one in Sierra Leone, and one in Zambia.

The contest is open to all photography enthusiasts and features four categories:

SINGLE PHOTOS ON THE THEME OF AQUATIC LANDSCAPES

SINGLE PHOTOS ON THE THEME OF GLACIER PROTECTION

STORYTELLING ON THE THEME OF WATER STORIES

The international jury is composed of 15 highly regarded professionals from the field.
