Eligibility:
The competition is open to photographers worldwide, both professional and amateur. Participants must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent if under 18. All entries must be original work created by the submitting photographer.
Copyrights & Usage Rights:
Photographers retain full copyright of their submitted images. By entering the competition, participants grant Berlin Photo Awards a non-exclusive license to use submitted images for promotional purposes related to the competition, including website features, social media, press, and exhibition materials. Proper credit will always be given to the photographer. Images will not be sold or used for commercial purposes outside of promoting the awards without the photographer’s explicit consent.
