This competition celebrates every approach to color photography, from subtle and restrained palettes to bold, vibrant, and highly expressive visual language.
What matters is how color contributes to the meaning, atmosphere, and emotional impact of the image.
Photographers from all genres and backgrounds are welcome to participate.
Beyond category, we are looking for work with a clear vision and a defined intention.
The winner will be recognized as Photographer of the Year and, together with the finalists, will be included in the annual Colors Book. This publication brings together an international selection of works, carefully edited and presented, creating a coherent body that reflects what is happening in monochromatic photography today.
Rather than a fleeting appearance, the book offers a lasting format where the work can be seen with the time and attention it requires. Each project is placed in relation to others, generating dialogue and reinforcing its context within a broader contemporary landscape.
