Grid Photo Gallery presents Travel: Around the World 2026, an international open call dedicated to photographic works that explore places, movement, culture, landscape, and the many ways we experience the world through photography.

The theme welcomes a broad interpretation of travel photography, including distant landscapes, dense cities, remote territories, familiar streets, cultural spaces, routes, borders, interiors, and environments shaped by movement or belonging. Images may focus on iconic destinations or overlooked corners, expansive views or intimate details, everyday life or encounters with extreme and inhospitable environments.

Travel photography is not limited to documenting the act of travelling itself. A photograph can become a passage into another place, allowing viewers to experience its atmosphere, scale, textures, rhythms, distances, and the lives that unfold within it. A mountain range, a market, an isolated road, a neighbourhood, a quiet interior, or a fleeting encounter can all communicate a powerful sense of place.

Travel: Around the World 2026 seeks photographs with strong visual intention, clarity, composition, and atmosphere. The selection will value images that inspire curiosity and discovery while approaching the places they represent with sensitivity and without reducing them to simple stereotypes or visual clichés.

Selected works will be presented in a curated global online exhibition, accessible worldwide, bringing together diverse perspectives on geography, movement, culture, landscape, and contemporary travel photography. The exhibition invites viewers to travel through the eyes of others and discover both unfamiliar places and new ways of looking at the familiar.
