Call for Entries: 20/20 Photo Festival Exhibition

20/20 Photo Festival announces an international call for entries for its upcoming group exhibition, Transforming Landscapes. Photographers working in analog processes are invited to submit work aligned with the theme for presentation in September 2026 at Cherry Street Pier, as part of the annual 20/20 Photo Festival.

Photographers from Philadelphia and beyond are encouraged to submit work, contributing a wide range of perspectives on this year’s theme. Juried by Philadelphia-based photographer Andrew Piccone, the exhibition invites artists to reflect on the evolution of the American landscape over the past 250 years—encompassing not only physical terrains, but also the technological, societal, political, scientific, and artistic forces that shape contemporary life.

As Piccone notes: “Amidst social movements, climate change, political turmoil, and the proliferation of invasive technology in our lives, now more than ever we as photographers have an urgent sense of duty to document our changing landscapes in an attempt to better understand the how and the why of these transformations.”

We welcome submissions created through analog photographic methods, including a range of film types (color negative, black-and-white, slide, and instant) and formats such as 35mm, 120, 4x5 large format, 110, and 126.

Selected works will be exhibited throughout September at Cherry Street Pier as part of the 20/20 Photo Festival and will also be featured at the festival’s Photo Book Fair on September 12, 2026.
