Focus / Expand, exploring the polarity between focusing on the smaller details and expanding out to see the bigger picture.

Ideas to explore can include perception, scale, intimacy, distance and isolation. The exhibition invites reflection on how we choose what to see, what we overlook, and how shifts in perspective can alter our understanding of people, places, objects, ideas, and experiences. It also considers how focus and expansion relate to the contemporary world, personal narratives and identity, between local and global issues.

Photographers are asked to explore this theme however they wish, whether focusing on one aspect or both in their submissions.
